It’s that time again! YOUNG BIBLE HERO OF THE WEEK! WooHoo! This week’s young Bible hero has remained unnamed in the Bible but his act of courage ensured that Paul the Apostle had the opportunity to preach in Rome for two years!
This young man was Paul’s nephew and as he was going through his usual day he overheard a plot to kill his uncle. Never mind that that the religious leaders of his people had given their full support to it, never mind that the conspirators were so hell-bent on their endeavor that they had sworn not to even eat until they had killed the Apostle, never mind that he had to run right into the middle of the barracks of the greatest army in the world, one that held his people captive, in order to tell of the plot. Never mind, he did it anyway. And his bravery saved Paul’s life so that he could take his God appointed journey to Rome where “Boldly and without hindrance he preached the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ”(Acts 28:31)
